About Us
Pi Tau Sigma is a national honorary mechanical engineering fraternity and is the only mechanical engineering honorary at Ohio State. Membership is limited to the top 1/4 of juniors and 1/3 of seniors. The fraternity is co-educational as it admits both women and men.
Pi Tau Sigma was founded in 1915 at the University of Illinois and the University of Wisconsin. The Ohio State Pi Mu Chapter was 37th chapter, chartered on May 7, 1948. You can read the Pi Tau Sigma constitution here.
