Research

My research over the years has been on heat transfer, computational fluid dynamics, hydrodynamic stability and crystal growth. Early in the year 2000 I realized how fast world energy resources were depleting and decided to switch my studies to the assessment of world energy resources and how they are likely to influence our society. As a result I also began to teach  more applied subjects, such as heating, ventilating and air-conditioning and turbomachinery, as well as an occasional seminar on deep sustainability.
