Research

Dr. Adamovich's research interests center on supersonic flow control and combustion control by plasmas, nonequilibrium MHD flows, generation of stable high-pressure nonequilibrium plasmas, plasma chemical synthesis of advanced materials, and kinetics of gases, plasmas, and liquids at extreme thermodynamic disequilibrium. This research is conducted in the Non-Equilibrium Thermodynamics Laboratory (NETL) .
