Research Interests
I am interested in improving the post-operative outcomes for individuals undergoing total knee replacement surgeries. My research is focused on determining the effect that prosthetic component alignment has on knee kinematics and stablity through cadaver, intraoperative, and finite element studies. The goal of this research is to understand how the kinematics and stability of normal knees, osteoarthritic knees, and replaced knees vary and use this information to improve surgical techniques.
