Post-Doctoral Position

The Risk and Reliability Laboratory at the Ohio State University has an opening for a twelve month post-doctoral position for outstanding individuals. The position can be extended dependent upon performance and availability of funding. The position is to be filled starting January 1, 2016. The qualified individual should have research background in Software Engineering and Computer Engineering as it applies to safety critical applications and a PhD in the related disciplines. More specifically, the successful applicant should have the following qualifications:

  • A Doctorate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, System Engineering, Reliability Engineering or other relevant engineering disciplines
  • Research experience in computer faults (including hardware and software faults), computer architecture, UML, and AADL
  • A demonstrated publication record
  • An interdisciplinary background is preferred, but not required

The Risk and Reliability Laboratory at the Ohio State University has an opening for a nine to twelve month post-doctoral position for qualified individuals. The position can be extended dependent upon performance and availability of funding. The position is to be filled immediately. The qualified individual should have research background in Software Engineering as it applies to safety critical applications and a PhD in the related disciplines. The successful applicant should have an interdisciplinary background (computer science, statistics and engineering), and a demonstrated publication record. The applicant will be involved in research described in the following abstract.
