Accounts are automatically created each quarter using a combination of the BuckID number and initials from the users name. The initial password consists of the follow characters:

The first character is the first lower case character of the user's last name.

The second thru eighth characters are the last 7 digits of the users BuckID.

The ninth character is the first upper case character of the user's first name.

Example: If your personal information is as below:

Name: PeterSmith

OSU Username: smith.55

BuckID 6009088003028436000

Then your username is smith.55 and your password is s8436000P

You are forced to changer your password to a strong password at your first login. The minimum password length is 8 characters and must consist of a combination of at least three of the four following catagories: lower case lettters, upper case letters, numbers and special characters.
