Are you a recent graduate of our mechanical engineering program?  Or a 25 years out of college?

Either way, we are interested in staying in contact with you and learning of your accomplishments!  There are a few easy ways that you can stay in touch with the Department, and allow us to stay in contact with you.  Please consider updating your current address and/or activating your lifetime OSU email account so that we can send you our annual print newsletter and e-News.  Also, joining the OSU Alumni Association or an alumni society or club is a great way to stay connected with the University.

Updating your mailing or email addresses or contacting the OSU Alumni Association or the Mechanical Engineering Alumni Society is easy - just use the links provided below!

And of course, we welcome conversation with all of our alumni!  If you wish to contact the Department of Mechanical Engineering directly, please email Emily Burkhart at burkhart.71@osu.edu or call 614-292-9432.

Joining the Mechanical Engineering Alumni Society

The Mechanical Engineering Alumni Society was established in 1986 to academic assistance, social activities, and professional fellowship for the alumni, students, faculty, and friends of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Ohio State University.

Over 150 of our alumni have chosen to stay connected to the Department through MEAS, and their membership continues to grow.  They invite you to check out their website at http://www.alumni-osu.org/meas/ and to join them at one of their upcoming events!

Joining the OSU Alumni Association

The mission of the OSU Alumni Association is "dedicated to...connectecting alumni, students, and friends of the university in lifelong support of Ohio State and each other."  Archie Griffin, President and CEO of the OSUAA, invites you to join over 126,000 OSU alumni in one of the largest dues-supported alumni associations in the world and take advantages of the tremendous number of services that the OSU Alumni Association has to offer.

Keeping Your Address Current

Over 20% of engineering alumni are considered "lost" because of a lack of current contact information!  If you wish to receive the Engineer magazine and be informed of College events (including the annual "Buckeye Reunion Under the Stars" and football tailgates!) then we need to know how to reach you!

The easiest way to update your contact information is by filling out the Lost Alumni Update Form provided through the College of Engineering.  You can also contact Emily Burkhart at burkhart.71@osu.edu or at 614-292-9432 with updated information.

ME Alumni Newsletters

The Department of Mechanical Engineering publishes newsletters on a bi-annual basis.  Copies of newsletters for the past five years can be found here!

Our newsletters go out to all of our mechanical engineering alumni.  If you are not receiving either of these newsletters, please email burkhart.71@osu.edu with your current contact and mailing information.

OSU Lifetime Email Forwarding Service

All OSU alumni are eligible to continue using their OSU email address for life!  This is a great way to maintain contact with the University, and to allow you to easily remain in touch with your college classmates.

You can take advantage of this service through OSU's Lifetime Email Forwarding Service.  (You do need an outside existing email account to use this service.)
